Mobile broadband prices are advertised in Swedish kronor, and the first monthly price is not always the long-term price. Some offers have a promotional period, followed by a higher ongoing monthly charge.
Among the residential mobile broadband plans we compared, published monthly prices started at 49 SEK for a small introductory 5 GB plan and reached 529 SEK for an unlimited list-price plan. Several unlimited 5G-style plans advertised 1000 Mbit/s down, but the monthly price, router inclusion and contract length differed.
For example, Comviq published unlimited mobile broadband options including flexible plans and 24-month offers. One 1000 Mbit/s down unlimited offer was advertised at 249 SEK per month, then 449 SEK from month 25, with 0 SEK activation fee in the published plan details. If kept for 24 months, that monthly fee totals 5,976 SEK; if kept for 36 months, the monthly fees total 11,364 SEK.
Telia published capped 40 GB and 70 GB options with a 299 SEK activation fee, alongside unlimited options. One unlimited router offer was advertised at 399 SEK per month, then 529 SEK from month 25, with 0 SEK activation fee in the published plan details. That makes the promotional period and the later price important, especially if you expect to keep the connection for more than two years.
Hallon published several flexible plans, including 5 GB, 20 GB, 100 GB, 200 GB and unlimited allowances. Some of those offers showed a lower introductory price with the ongoing monthly price starting from month 3. The published plan details did not state an activation fee for those offers, so check that charge directly with the provider before ordering.
